PromethEUs Power Breakfast titled “The NE(X)T Neutrality: An open debate on the future of the Internet and its infrastructures”

On the 26th September, PromethEUs, supported by I-Com, organised a Power Breakfast on the future of the Internet and its infrastructures with the participation of: Marco Scialdone, Director of CEP; Antonio Manganelli, Professor of Competition Policy & Regulation, University of Rome LUMSA; Konstantinos Masselos, Chair, BEREC and other relevant stakeholders.

The event’s goal was to foster the discussion around the debate surrounding the contribution of large Internet companies to finance the expansion of Ultrafast Broadband, 5G, and cloud infrastructure. This topic is highly relevant considering the ongoing discussions between European telecommunications and tech companies and could have implications for the evolving notion of net neutrality.
